It selectively inhibits ERK1, p38alpha, and EGFR, with IC50 values of 0.48 µM, 3.4 µM, and 0.38 µM, respectively. In an acute rat PK-PD model, (3S)-Tanzisertib (hydrochloride) suppresses LPS-induced TNFalpha production and is utilized in research on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
