Sibenadet (AR-C68397AA (free base)) is a dual dopamine D2/beta2-adrenoceptor agonist with selectivity for beta2-adrenoceptor activation. It inhibits capsaicin-induced plasma protein extravasation in rat trachea and reduces edema by activating beta2-adrenergic receptors, thereby inhibiting the activation of sensory nerve fibers. Sibenadet is a potential candidate for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) research.
