AF488 streptavidin is a fluorescently labeled streptavidin. It consists of a biotin-binding protein (streptavidin) covalently linked to a fluorescent label (AF488). AF488 is a bright and photostable green fluorophore with emission and excitation wavelengths (lambdaem and lambdaex) of 520 nm and 470 nm, respectively.
