Microtubule inhibitor 9 (Compound O-7) is a derivative of 2-Aryl-1H-benzo[d]imidazole with demonstrated anticancer activity in vitro. It induces cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and early apoptosis (apoptosis). Microtubule inhibitor 9 also hinders cancer cell migration by impairing wound healing and colony formation.
