Antimycobacterial agent-7 (compound 4) is a 1,2,4-triazole antimycobacterial agent with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 2 µg/mL. It inhibits Mtb KatG and induces the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) within Mtb cells, leading to oxidative damage and ultimately causing Mtb cell death.
