HUP-46 is a compound capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and functions as a modulator of alphaSyn dimerization and autophagy (autophagy). It reduces the pPP2A/PP2A ratio, elevates the levels of the autophagy marker LC3BII, and diminishes alphaSyn dimerization. HUP-46 is applicable in neurodegenerative disease research.
