alpha-Glucosidase-IN-92 (compound 14b) is a non-competitive inhibitor targeting alpha-glucosidase with an IC50 of 64.0 µM, displaying greater inhibitory potency than Acarbose (IC50=750 µM). It has excellent oral bioavailability and can cross the blood-brain barrier. This compound slows carbohydrate hydrolysis and reduces postprandial blood glucose levels, making it useful for antidiabetic studies in type 2 diabetes.
