dAPM-1 (acetate) is a peptide-mimetic antibiotic that selectively induces intracellular aggregation in Bacillus subtilis. It exhibits activity against Staphylococcus aureus, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Bacillus subtilis, Enterococcus faecium, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of 8, 4, 4, 8, and 16 µg/ml, respectively.
