RB-PEG-N3 (MW 5000) (Rhodamine B-PEG-N3 (MW 5000)) is a fluorescent dye composed of Rhodamine B, PEG, and an azide group (N3). It serves as a click chemistry reagent, with the azide group enabling copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing molecules. Additionally, it can participate in strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules that contain DBCO or BCN groups. Its excitation/emission wavelengths are 546/610 nm.
