Serving as a click chemistry reagent, RB-PEG-N3 (MW 10000) contains azide groups that engage in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAC) with alkyne-containing molecules. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules featuring DBCO or BCN groups. This compound exhibits excitation/emission maxima at 546/610 nm.
