In rats on a high-fat diet, GPR109 receptor agonist-3 reduces total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), while increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). This compound is applicable for atherosclerosis research.
