Cardol triene, a phenolic compound found in cashews, competitively and irreversibly inhibits mushroom tyrosinase (IC50=22.5 µM) and exhibits micromolar-level inhibition against Schistosoma mansoni worms. It can be used for synthesizing dibenzoxazines.
