Anti-inflammatory agent 11 (compound 16) is a potent antimycobacterial agent used in tuberculosis (TB) research. It inhibits the growth of Mtb H37Rv and M299 with MIC 50 values of 1.3 and 6.9 µM, respectively. Additionally, it reduces inflammation by suppressing iNOS expression and inhibiting NO, TNF-alpha, and IL-1beta production [1].
