Tiapride is an atypical neuroleptic agent without propensity for causing catalepsy and sedation. Tiapride is a selective antagonist of dopamine D2-receptor with IC 50 values of 1440, 45.8, >100, and 11.7 µM for D1, D2, D3, D4, respectively [1].
