MY33-3 hydrochloride is a potent and selective inhibitor of the protein tyrosine phosphatase RPTPbeta/zeta (IC50~0.1 µM) and PTP-1B (IC50~0.7 µM). It also reduces ethanol consumption and alleviates Sevoflurane-induced neuroinflammation and cognitive dysfunction.
