LXQ46 is an orally effective inhibitor of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) with an IC50 of 0.190 µM. It enhances insulin and leptin signaling pathways in insulin-resistant C2C12 cells. Additionally, LXQ46 improves type 2 diabetes and increases insulin tolerance in mouse models.
