HDAC6-IN-48 (compound 5i) is a potent and selective inhibitor of HDAC6, exhibiting IC50 values of 5.16, 396.72, and 638.08 nM against HDAC6, HDAC3, and HDAC1, respectively. This compound induces cell apoptosis and arrests the cell cycle at the G0/G1 phase. Furthermore, HDAC6-IN-48 enhances the expression of acetylated alpha-tubulin.
