CSNK2-IN-1 is a potent and selective inhibitor of CSNK2, exhibiting IC50 values of 1.7 nM for CSNK2A1 and 0.66 nM for CSNK2A2. It demonstrates antiviral activity against beta-coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2 and MHV. Despite its favorable solubility, metabolic stability, and low cytotoxicity, CSNK2-IN-1 experiences a rapid decline in plasma concentration in vivo, which is insufficient for pharmacological effects. This compound is suitable for research in antiviral drug development.
