MP-RM-1 is a selective murine monoclonal antibody inhibitor that targets the human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (ErbB-3). It blocks ErbB-3 activation induced by neuregulin 1 (NRG-1beta), facilitates ErbB-3 internalization and degradation, and inhibits downstream signaling pathways like PI3K-Akt. MP-RM-1 shows potential for research on ErbB-3-overexpressing solid tumors such as breast cancer, melanoma, and prostate cancer.
