Ianalumab (FUT8-KO) is a humanized, deglycosylated antibody targeting BAFF-R. It inhibits the interaction between BAFF and BAFF-R, antagonizing the apoptosis protection mediated by BAFF. Additionally, Ianalumab (FUT8-KO) exhibits antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) that relies on the activation of effector cells mediated by immune receptor tyrosine-based activation motifs (ITAM).
