DSPE-PEG-IA, MW 2000 is a thiol-reactive phospholipid PEG. The iodoacetyl group can react with thiols to form thioether bonds. This polymer can self-assemble in water to create lipid bilayers and is applicable for targeted drug delivery, such as liposomal doxorubicin for cancer treatment or mRNA vaccines.
