mPEG-Alkyne (MW 2000) is a PEG derivative. Under the catalysis of monovalent copper, the alkyne group can chemically react with azides in an aqueous solution. Polyethylene glycol derivatives can enhance drug solubility and stability, reduce the immunogenicity of peptides, and exhibit excellent biocompatibility.
