Mal-PEG-SCM (MW 5000) is a linear heterobifunctional PEG compound featuring maleimide and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester groups. As a significant PEG-based crosslinker, it facilitates reactions with thiol, SH, mercapto, or sulfhydryl groups via the maleimide moiety.
