DBCO-PEG-NHS (MW 3400) is a PEG derivative composed of DBCO, PEG units, and an NHS ester. The NHS ester can react with amino acids or other molecules containing amino groups. Additionally, the DBCO group in DBCO-PEG-NHS (MW 3400) facilitates strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing azide groups.
