Alkyne-PEG-Silane (MW 1000) is a PEG derivative composed of silane, PEG, and alkyne groups. As a click chemistry reagent, it possesses an alkyne group capable of engaging in a copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) reaction with azide-containing molecules. The silane group allows Alkyne-PEG-Silane (MW 1000) to modify surfaces such as glass and silicon.
