DBCO-PEG-NHS (MW 1000) is a PEG derivative composed of DBCO, PEG units, and an NHS ester. The NHS ester can react with amino acids or other amine-containing molecules. The DBCO group facilitates a strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing azide groups.
