Allopurinol-13C,15N2 is an isotopically labeled form of Allopurinol with Carbon-13 and Nitrogen-15. Allopurinol is an effective oral xanthine oxidase inhibitor with an IC50 value range of 0.2-50 µM, used in the study of hyperuricemia and gout. It reduces the expression of HIF-1alpha and HIF-2alpha proteins and exhibits antidepressant and antinociceptive properties. Additionally, Allopurinol has anti-leishmanial effects.
