Cytidine-5-triphosphate-13C,d1 (Cytidine triphosphate-13C,d1 dilithium, 5-CTP-13C,d1) is a deuterated and 13C labeled form of Cytidine-5-triphosphate. This triphosphate nucleotide, known as Cytidine 5'-triphosphate (Cytidine triphosphate, 5-CTP), serves as a building block for the synthesis of nucleotides, nucleic acids, and lipids. Cytidine 5'-triphosphate synthase catalyzes the conversion of UTP to 5-CTP. It is also an essential biomolecule for T. gondii in its de novo pyrimidine biosynthesis pathway.
