Product Description

Closantel-13C6 is the 13C6-labeled version of Closantel. Closantel is a halogenated salicylanilide with potent antiparasitic properties. It serves as an effective and highly specific inhibitor of the chitinase enzyme (OvCHT1) from Onchocerca volvulus, showing an IC50 of 1.6 µM and a Ki of 468 nM. Closantel also inhibits the molting of Haemonchus contortus from the L3 to L4 stage.
