Cyclooctatin suppresses the activity of lysophospholipase [EC 3.1.1.5] (Lyso-PL). Using Terpentecin as a substrate, it inhibits Lyso-PL, PL-A2, PL-C, and PL-D, with IC50 values of 2.9 µg/mL, 65.0 µg/mL, 70.0 µg/mL, and >100 µg/mL, respectively.
