Clerosterol ((-)-Clerosterol) is a small molecule compound derived from Roasted bupleuri in vinegar that inhibits Pgp overexpression. Clerosterol shows cytotoxicity to human melanoma cells and can be used to study the loss of mitochondrial membrane potential.
