Cyclic AC253 is an amylin receptor antagonist with an IC50 of 0.3 µM. It offers neuroprotective effects against Abeta toxicity and mitigates Abeta-induced impairments in hippocampal long-term potentiation. Additionally, Cyclic AC253 is capable of penetrating the blood-brain barrier.
