Laminarinase, derived from Trichoderma sp. (EC 3.2.1.6), is capable of degrading cellulose, xylan, and beta-1,4-xylans by targeting beta-1,4-glucans. beta-glucanases are a class of carbohydrate enzymes that can break the glycosidic bonds within beta-glucans.
