Prokaryotic Thymidylate kinase (EC 2.7.4.9) is an enzyme that functions as a phosphotransferase, transferring phosphorous-containing groups with phosphate as the acceptor. It plays a role in pyrimidine metabolism. The enzyme uses ATP and dTMP as substrates and produces ADP and dTDP as products.
