Trypsin, Rat (EC 3.4.21.4) is a serine protease and is part of the PA clan superfamily. It is found in the digestive systems of many vertebrates and can hydrolyze proteins. This enzyme primarily cleaves peptide chains at the carboxyl side of lysine or arginine, provided proline does not follow these residues.
