CMC-Na (Viscosity: 600-3000 mpa.s) is a chemically modified, water-soluble derivative of cellulose that has wide-ranging of applications across food technology, pharmaceuticals, detergents, paper coatings, and dispersant systems. CMC-Na enhances physical properties such as viscosity and stability and has also been reported to improve the hydrogenation and dehydrogenation properties of magnesium, making it relevant in both applied and fundamental materials research.
