Lipopolysaccharides (from Salmonella typhosa) , LPS, from bacterial (Salmonella typhosa)
Lipopolysaccharides, from Salmonella typhosa, are endotoxins and TLR-4 activators originating from Salmonella typhosa. These S-type lipopolysaccharides can stimulate the immune systems pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMP) and induce cellular secretion of migratory bodies. They exhibit a typical three-part structure: O antigen, core oligosaccharide, and lipid A. These lipopolysaccharides can function as vaccine adjuvants, enhancing the immune response, particularly by modulating B cell activity.
