Human CD137 (4-1BB) is expressed on activated T cells within 24-48 hours of activation. CD137 is a type I membrane protein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. CD137 appears to be important for T cell proliferation and survival. CD137 Ig fusion protein blocks binding of anti-human CD137 to activated CEM human tumor cells and also binds to CD137 Ligand on Raji cells. Molecular Structure: A soluble 55kD fusion protein consisting of the extracellular (186aa) domain of human CD137 (4-1BB) fused to human IgG1 Fc. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 5-10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4C. Do not freeze. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Molecular Weight: 55
Purity: Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Form: Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.5, 0.5mg/ml gentamicin sulfate.
