PSMG4, is a chaperone protein which promotes assembly of the 20S proteasome. It interacts with PSMG3, as well as directly alpha and beta subunits of the 20S proteasome but dissociates before the formation of half-proteasomes, probably upon recruitment of POMP. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-123 from human PSMG4, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
