Product Description

For the quantitative determination of goat Immunoglobulin A (IgA) in serum and plasma. Sensitivity: 29ng/ml Detection Range: 29-7500ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of goat immunoglobulin A. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between goat immunoglobulin A and analogues was observed. Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with immunoglobulin A. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody specific for immunoglobulin A. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in opposite to the amount of immunoglobulin A in samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Once opened, the kit is stable for 1 month providing this is within the expiration date of the kit. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
