CD155, also known as PVR and Necl-5, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that binds poliovirus as well as vitronectin, Nectin-3, and DNAM-1. It exists as several isoforms with shortened C-terminal tails, including a soluble form that lacks the transmembrane segment. CD155 is expressed in a variety of normal tissues and is upregulated in tumor cells of epithelial and neuronal origin. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
