CD155, also known as PVR and Necl-5, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that binds poliovirus as well as vitronectin, Nectin-3, and DNAM-1. It exists as several isoforms with shortened C-terminal tails, including a soluble form that lacks the transmembrane segment. CD155 is expressed in a variety of normal tissues and is upregulated in tumor cells of epithelial and neuronal origin. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
