Product Description

MaxLight(TM)490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight(TM)488, Alexa Fluor(TM)488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm), Emission (515nm), Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Probably involved in connections of major cytoskeletal structures to the plasma membrane. In epithelial cells, required for the formation of microvilli and membrane ruffles on the apical pole. Along with PLEKHG6, required for normal macropinocytosis. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
