Probably serves as a target for the spiC protein from Salmonella typhimurium, which inactivates it, leading to a strong alteration in cellular trafficking. Component of the FTS/Hook/FHIP complex (FHF complex). The FHF complex may function to promote vesicle trafficking and/or fusion via the homotypic vesicular protein sorting complex (the HOPS complex). May regulate clearance of endocytosed receptors such as MSR1. Participates in defining the architecture and localization of the Golgi complex. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: QNQGAAPEIQALKNQLQERDRLFHSLEKEYEKTKSQREMEEKYIVSAWYNMGMTLHKKAAEDRLASTGSGQSFLARQRQATSSRRSYPGHVQPATAR Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
