MaxLight(TM)490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight(TM)488, Alexa Fluor(TM)488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm), Emission (515nm), Extinction Coefficient 73,000. This gene encodes a member of the prefoldin beta subunit family. The encoded protein is one of six subunits of prefoldin, a molecular chaperone complex that binds and stabilizes newly synthesized polypeptides, thereby allowing them to fold correctly. The complex, consisting of two alpha and four beta subunits, forms a double beta barrel assembly with six protruding coiled-coils. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot.
