The Human Anti-Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase Antibodies (Anti-GAD) ELISA Kit is an enzyme immunoassay for the in vitro quantitative measurement of Anti-GAD in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 1.56-100ng/ml Sensitivity: <0.65ng/ml Precision: Intra-Assay CV: <10% Inter-Assay CV: <12% Test Principle: The microtiter plate has been pre-coated with an antigen. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells and the liquid in each well containing unbound material is aspirated after the required incubation period. HRP-conjugated secondary antibody is then added. After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. After TMB substrate solution is added, those wells that contain Anti-GAD will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulfuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm 10nm. The concentration of Anti-GAD in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
