Product Description

A potent cell-permeable activator of cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA). Activates both type 1 and type 2 PKA and binds to the cAMP binding site 2 on the regulatory subunit of PKA. It is only slowly metabolized by cyclic nucleotide-dependent phosphodiesterases. Due to its considerably increased lipophilicity, it has sufficient membrane permeability for many biological systems.
