A blood brain barrier permeable, positive allosteric modulator of the metabotropic GABAB receptor. Shown to modulate GABAB receptor in the high affinity state and thereby increases agonist affinity for the receptor. Also enhances agonist potency and efficacy even on recombinant GABAB receptors.
