Product Description

Lipoxygenase inhibitor, polyphenol-bearing o-dihydroxy (catechol) structure. Inhibitor of broad bean lipoxygenase. The oxidation product from Resveratrol showed a high inhibitory activity, whereas Resveratrol itself had no activity and its oxidation efficiency was low. Solubility (C=5% in Ethanol): Colorless to slightly hazy Infrared Spectrum: Conforms to structure Turbidity (C=0.5% in Ethanol): 2NTU (C=0.5% in Ethanol) Loss on Drying: 0.5% Melting Point: 183-191C Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C.
