Partially purified human neutrophil flavocytochrome b (heparin Ultrogellectin affinity purification in octyl glucoside)
Cytochrome b-245 heavy chain (CYBB), which is also know as NOX2/gp91phox. NOX2/gp91phox is a component of the membrane-bound oxidase of phagocytes that generates superoxide. Defects in the CYBB gene are a cause of Chronic X-linked granulomatous disease (CGD). Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: P3U1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
